In this application, the lid weighs approximately 10 kg and measures 818 W × 550 L × 140 H mm. It must open to about 90 degrees. The operator should manually lift the lid at first. After the lid passes a defined angle threshold, the gas spring should provide enough assistance to continue opening it. Below this threshold, the lid should close slowly and in a controlled manner.
